“I was thrilled, delighted, and amazed at these wonderful three ladies who did a good deed for a senior citizen in Gainesville that day.” – Mosetta Cohen

If there’s one thing certain about Mini Maids of Gainesville, it is that we strive to make a difference. Whether that effort is put toward cleaning homes, making our clients happy or simply helping out a citizen in need, we make sure to always put our customers and those in need first.

Recently, three of our maids were on the road in Gainesville when senior citizen, Mosetta Cohen, was on her way to a doctor’s appointment. Mosetta was caught off guard by a large piece of plastic debris in the road, but she could not steer clear of it because there was too much traffic at the time.

“It attached itself to the underside right tire area of my car. There being no good place to stop, I drove several miles with that flopping under my car. When I finally reached my street and the doctor’s parking lot, a car followed me in and parked beside me,” Mosetta said in an email to our owner, Carol Doak.

Thankfully, our Mini Maids were in the right place at the right time and able to follow Mosetta into the parking lot to help her out. We made sure that Mosetta arrived at her destination safely and removed the piece of debris from her car.

“I was thrilled, delighted, and amazed at these wonderful three ladies who did a good deed for a senior citizen in Gainesville that day,” Mosetta said. “That kind of action and thought makes Gainesville stand out head and shoulders above other places on the map. These ladies went above and beyond my expectations.”

The fact that we were able to help a citizen in need reminds us that our business is not just about cleaning homes. Our business is about being able to help those in our community in any way that we can! There is absolutely no better feeling.
