Do you know what’s under your sink? According to Washington University research, chemicals found in many of the everyday cleaning products link to early menopause, early puberty in young girls and can even potentially cause osteoporosis or cardiovascular diseases.

So before you delve into spring-cleaning mode, check out this list of eco-friendly and nontoxic cleaning products to provide a cleaner and safer environment to use in your house.

Better Life. Better Life cleaning products have been featured on ABC’s Shark Tank. Better Life makes everything from all-purpose cleaners to laundry detergents and everything in between. All of the cleaning products are derived from plants and contain no Volatiles (VOCs) to ensure a less toxic clean and is less harmful to the environment.

Baking soda. Good, old-fashion baking soda is also a safe product for all-natural household cleaning. It will fight off gross odors in the fridge, can be used to clean surfaces, remove stale smells from food containers, to clean silver, remove scuff marks or grease spills and also be used removed burnt food stuck to the bottom of pots.

So instead of pouring dangerous chemicals down the tub your child bathes in, try some of these safe alternatives. Try to stay away from any cleaning product with Benzene, Toluene, Methanol Formaldehyde or carbon listed in the ingredient label.
